The Tie Bar

If you are not wearing a collar pin then you should be wearing a tie bar. They just look impressive. A tie bar says, "Hey, I give a damn about my appearance." Choose plain, solid color tie bars and leave the ones that are embedded in jewels for P Diddy. Silver will always come out on top, but gold and black work too. Wear your tie bar between the third and forth button of your shirt. The bar should only fit about 4/5 of the way across your tie, never fully across. If your tie is narrow, get a different tie bar. There, more often than not, seems to be a correlation between men who wear tie bars and generally being well dressed. The small details in life make the difference (ask any athlete or politician who has ever been worth anything). Get yourself some tie bars.
