A SUIT EVERYMAN SHOULD OWN- THE HOUNDSTOOTH:

Men, it is another exciting day. On this day you will decide to add another suit to your collection. By now, after following my posts for a while, you will have acquired a suit collection to envy. A necessity in a dapper gentleman's suit collection is the houndstooth. As I have previously written, there are certain suit types that you will only own one or two of at a given time. In this case, it is of crucial importance that these suits are a tailored classic fit that you love, and that they are very well made. There is absolutely no reason, with the right care, that any given well bought suit can't last up to a decade. Therefore buy your houndstooth suit with care. Take the extra time to ensure the fit is just perfect. There is nothing worse than having only one suit of a given type that you hate wearing because of the way it sits. A houndstooth suit must be black and white. Brown houndstooth is acceptable for country affairs but, be honest, there are very few men that endeavor on regular country extravaganzas that require a country-fit suit. Classic black and white houndstooth wears exceptionally well. The main reason for this is that the nature of the tessellation allows the fabric to hide any small blemishes or marks with ease. Even if the suit is worn in certain areas, to an onlooker the wear will hardly be noticeable. A houndstooth suit makes a man look important. It will make you look terrific. Enjoy. JB
