MY DAILY PICK FROM MR PORTER:

Ahhh, there is so much joy to be found in chic shoes. In many ways it feels as though a well dressed man could never own enough pairs of shoes. Today from Mr Porter I have selected a pair of brown nubuck leather slippers. The slippers are by Lanvin. Despite the fact that Mr Porter recommends pairing with a navy tux I beg to differ. Wear your slippers with any semi-formal outfit. Midnight navy and black are for evening wear shoes. These slippers are crafted in Italy (which will forever be a brilliant thing because Italian craftsmanship is like no other). The slippers are signature Lanvin; they are sleek and notably lack any form of detailing. How I would wear them? Simply, with a pair of navy fitted chinos, a black V-neck cashmere sweater, and a classic houndstooth sport coat. Perfect. One thing is for certain, these slippers won't bear any similarities with any pair of slippers you may already own. Choose the Lanvin nubuck leather slipper. JB
