I love white pants. Definitely not thanks to the poorly dressed Italian body builders in Brooklyn but rather thanks to the masses of well dressed gentleman at the worlds polo matches and the dudes pulling the sails on those sweet yachts. Sure, get it wrong and you will look like an idiot but get it right and you will look deeply confident and suave. It's about keeping the rest of your outfit simple. Opt for shades of blue, preferably navy, and go sock less. Gentleman this a summer look and while I have seen white pants pulled off during an Italian winter, it definitely lends itself to keeping you fresh and cool on a hot summers day. Be brave.
